WELCOME TO ROOSTER WRITING

SYD

Sydney Patrick McNeal was twenty-something, the forgotten middle child, native son to an old school community where nicknames are as hallowed as family ties, and where your grade school friends are friends for life. He thought his biggest problems were disappointing his father, over-gripping his driver, and keeping enough beer in the fridge.

He was wrong.

When a recurring dream becomes a doorway into a world where time bends sideways, Syd discovers the River, an ancient spiritual current that connects all souls. There, he meets Melon—a supernatural guide whose answers only lead to stranger questions. With his inner and outer worlds at odds, Syd's reality unravels. He must choose between the life he's always known and a truth that could change everything.

Filled with laugh-out-loud humor, genuine heart, and unexpected wonder, SYD is a wildly imaginative tale about friendship, family, faith, and the unseen forces that bind it all. Perfect for readers who enjoy the wit of Christopher Moore, the reflections of Mitch Albom, or the spiritual depth of Wm. Paul Young.

The universe may be far stranger-- and far more connected-- than any of us realize. Join Syd in this unforgettable, eye-opening journey, where every round of golf and every swig of beer echo deeper truths about the nature of consciousness and the power of perception— and where just a ripple can remake reality.
