Joseph ‘Rooster’ Nalls grew up near Washington DC in a family of nine boys. He attended St. Jane de Chantal Grade School, Gonzaga High School, and James Madison University.

Now he lives in Arvada, CO with his wife Heather. They have three children-- Emma Jo, Ashley, and Lucas. They also have two dogs, Ralphie and Luna.

Mr. Nalls has published two other books, It’s Not What You Know It’s What They Know and Politics and Policy from an Independent Idiot.

Syd is his first work of fiction. It will be published under the pen name John Henry Crowe.
